I had a pretty big setback last night for my legs as I decided to play football (soccer) and decided to give the ball a big kick as I entered the pitch without warming up or stretching. Big mistake a muscle popped in my leg and I was forced to play in goal ( a postision I hate) for the rest of the game and let in alot of goals.
So My legs are going to be out of action for at least a week until they repair themselves. I hate sports injurys but its my own fault for not warming up.
looks like I have strained my Rectus femoris. which is a muscle part of the Quadriceps. Looks like a week off training my quads and I will could apply some sort of presseure strap to my leg to speed up recovery, as well as add ice. nice no bodybuilding for me his week. well legs anyway.
