Body fat percentage update and new gym new regime

 I have just checked my body fat percentage which I posted on the first of Feb and I have just measured myself again. my body fat measurement over 4 months ago was 19.6%. My body fat now is still 19.6%. If I had the will power and focus to stick to a good diet I could have shed 10% body fat within the last 4 months, easily! The aim of this journal was to  keep me inspired and at the moment I’m failing my goals on why I setup this bodybuilding blog.

Although I must say, It is good to look back four months and see what I COULD have achieved and its made me a little mad with myself, so I feel even more determined than ever to shed some fat and stick to a good bodybuilding diet and fitness regime so I can look back in another four months and prove to myself I can keep promises to myself.

I have just joined a gym (fitness gym) close to where I work and for the last three days I have been going for an hour before work and an hour at dinner time. My aim is to lose fat so I have been using the running machine and swimming pool and a quick go on some weight machines just to remind my body that I  still need the muscle. nothing too strenuous exercise wise, just enough to get my heartbeat, beating faster in order to burn some fat.

I haven’t fully sorted my diet out but I have cut down on all the shit I have been eating a lately. I have cut bread and sugar out of my diet which has worked well with fat loss for me in the past. I am trying to eat more protein, less carbohydrates (not cutting carbs out altogether - its unhealthy if you do) and smaller regular meals through out the day. I have some whey protein powder to help supplement my diet and keep my protein intake high to ensure less muscle waste as possible.

After just three days at the gym, I feel a lot better so I’m going to try and keep going on a regular basis and book myself in for some weekly or fortnightly consultations so I’ll have the staff there to keep me motivated and make me more determined to hit targets.

    I dropped over 40lbs in 2 months and about 10-15% body fat. Just eat super clean and have the determination and dedication to stick to it.
